Life lessons

What 60 years has taught me…

These are little lessons that being alive for more than 60 years has taught me.

Lastest life lesson:  Avoid moselle. (19/10/26)

  1. Always carry folding chairs in the back of your car.
  2. You can fart on a dance floor and no-one will know it was you. Aeroplanes, however, are a different matter.
  3. Of all the many forms of tyranny that have been devised since the start of the industrial revolution, none is more destructive, pernicious, or oppressive than the power point presentation. If you see a middle manager bring a heap of power points into a meeting, you need to be prepared to fake your own death to get out of the room.
  4.  The early Beatles were probably better than the late Beatles.
