You will or won't miss-

picking up the crap they have left on, in or near the back seat of your car,

mouldy bottles with adhesive formula, furry dummies,

juice stained bibs, hats,

the picture books that slip under the front seat,

crayons, colouring pencils, plastic dinosaurs, bits of lego,

beads, barbies, barbie hats or pants,

grease marked chip packets, half a mcnugget,

stale potato chip fragments, juice boxes,

or fishing the straws, the plastic straw wrappers, and the dried up spat out black jelly bean,

from the crevices they get into,

or kids’ songs on your car stereo that you keep singing to

a block or two after you’ve dropped them off.
